Brandy grew up in Qualicum and always had a passion for animal welfare. She graduated from UBC in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Animal Biology and completed her diploma of Animal Health Technology through TRU in 2021.

Brandy and her husband have 6 pets: a mischievous Duck Toller (Remus), a Morgan/Welsh pony (Fortune), and four spoiled chickens (Rosalina, Trish, Chicory, and Peach). In her free time she loves traveling, horseback riding, and playing board games with friends.
