Growing up, Joyce always knew she was destined to work in the animal health care field. Since the age of 4 years old, she was an active member in her local 4-H club, and any time that was not spent dedicated to caring for her pets was spent outdoors.

She graduated from Thompson River University with a diploma in Animal Health Technology, and has a special interest in dentistry and anesthesia. Her chocolate labrador, Reef (or Chocolate Mocha Latte Prince Reef Barkin’ - Son as some may know him) is the perfect companion for her. Always ready for a hike in the forest, a walk on the beach.
