Anita grew up in Northern BC, and as a child spent many of her summers on her grandparents dairy farm in Southern Alberta. She discovered at a young age her love and admiration for animals.

 

Anita and her family moved from Northern BC to Vancouver Island in 2009. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2004 and joined the Qualicum Beach Animal Hospital team in January of 2019.

 

Anita feels passionate about client education and communication. She loves her leadership role in the clinic and feels blessed to work with such a dynamic group of people in such a diverse environment.

 

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her Husband Corey and daughters Sydney and Summer. Always close by are her two dogs, Buck, the Husky Lab mix and Prairie, the Rottweiler Pitbull mix (notorious for her alligator rolls). Of course never too far away are their cats, the big grey domestic kitty Rogie, their Scottish Fold Mama and her son Manny.
